Gas Dataflow Management System

In order to operate successfully as a UK gas supplier, it is essential to be able to communicate with your gas shipper and other industry parties. Gas Manager (GASMAN) is our energy industry software for gas distribution which acts as a data flow management and market messaging system for the gas supply market, facilitating industry communications.

GASMAN will validate all incoming and outgoing gas data flows, ensuring they comply with industry defined structures and practices. Invalid gas flows are quarantined for appropriate action to be taken with the initiating party, and flows that pass validation are imported to the gas dataflow system. 

The gas data flow registration system is an “exception event” driven system. This means that gas industry processes are followed with the gas registration software, automatically triggering the next flow in the process until an unexpected event occurs. 

These events can either be rejections of flows, or timeout errors where flows have not been received. The resulting action is the gas registration system raises a workflow event. These workflows are managed by our managed services team, or by your own internal operational staff.

GASMAN was created by Dyball Associates in 2012, and is successfully used by over 20 gas supply businesses. GASMAN is a versatile gas distribution software, allowing gas supply businesses to operate within both domestic and commercial gas markets via the same system.
