Paul Fox • Jul 30, 2018

When should I declare GC/DC values?

Initial Registration

When registering a BM unit, you will automatically register it’s GC and DC values for that season which is a part of the process.

  • November for December – February;

  • February for March – May;

  • May for June – August; and

  • August for September – November.

Submissions detail a supplier’s demand bGSP region including distribution and transmission losses and any other adjustments suppliers may wish to include to ensure actual demands do not exceed DC submissions.

Excessive DC submissions will impact upon Elexon credit requirements as credit cover requirements will be affected.

Seasonal and Mid-Season Declarations

Seasonal declarations are completed using form BSCP15/4.3, and mid-season re-declarations are done using form BSCP15/4.4. The completed forms should be sent to the Central Registration Agent (CRA).
