NGC Demand Submissions Criteria

Paul Fox • Jul 30, 2018

NGC require suppliers to submit quarterly forecasts of

  1. the anticipated triad demands for half-hourly customers within each GSP area; and
  2. non-half-hourly demand in each GSP area during 16.00-19.00 for all days over the year.

Suppliers have the opportunity to vary their demand forecasts on a quarterly basis over the course of the year, with the demand forecast requested in February relating to the next Financial Year. Suppliers will be notified of the timescales and process for each of the quarterly updates.

NGC will revise the monthly Transmission Network Use of System demand charges by calculating the annual charge based on the new forecast, subtracting the amount paid to date, and splitting the remainder evenly over the remaining months.
