Customer number Audit

Paul Fox • Jul 29, 2018

Ofgem have contracted auditors to verify suppliers’ submissions against supporting information and records held by each supplier. Normally these audits will take place in February and are relatively straightforward. It is useful for suppliers to have a process document, detailing the source of information being used and any other sources that will corroborate the numbers being submitted.

The auditors will provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and it is useful to show how this advice has been incorporated into subsequent information submission processes.
